CAPPADOCIA-NEMRUT MOUNTAIN

Departure in the morning towards Goreme then Kayseri. We visit the 13th century Seljuk Caravanserai Karatayhan. We stop at Pınarbası for a tea break and then drive to Tekir for lunch. We just cannot miss out on taking pictures of the beautiful scenery of the Tekşr Valley. We drive to Kahraman Maras for the world famous ice cream Dondurma then stop at Kahta where we will have a tea break. Overnight stay at a hotel in Adıyaman

NEMRUT-SANLIURFA-HARRAN

Very early departure to the ruins. We hike for 25mn all the way to the top to watch the most beautiful sunrise between the colossal size statues and heads of the kings and Gods. After sunrise, we will walk around and take pictures. We drive back to the hotel for breakfast. We head towards Kahta. On our way, we will stop at the ruins of the arsemia Roman Bridge of Cendere and Tumulus Tomb of Karakus. Tea break at Kahta then we drive to Sanlı Urfa-Harran. on the way, we visit Ataturk Dam which is the biggest dam in Middle East. After lunch, we visit Abraham's Cave and pools of Holy Carp surrounding it, then walk around oriental covered bazzar. We go to Harran a village of clay bricks beehive houses mentioned in the book of genesis where Abraham spends the last years of his life. We visit the ruins of Harran including city walls, oldest Islamic university and an 18th C. castle. After the sunset, we drive back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Sanlı Urfa.

SANLIURFA-GÖREME

Departure from Sanlı Urfa towards Adana-Birecik which is famous for the Bald-ibis (Kelaynak) birds. This type of birds only exists in Bilecik and no other place in the World. Unfortunately, only few of them are left that is why a farm for breeding Bald-ibis birds has opened its doors in this region. We have a lunch break then we drive up to the Taurus Mountain just after Adana. Tea break then we drive back to Goreme.
